This show will be a juried exhibition of young and emerging artists from around Monterey County whose various forms of art address a central theme of “Foundation,” whether collectively shared, physically constructed, or entirely personal.

 

This diverse collection of mediums and styles will foster an artist-led conversation around what grounds us, and give us the space to build, grow and reach.

With this exhibition, EAAM and The Pearl Works aim to create an opportunity for local artists to share their work in a professional environment with a varied audience of both art patrons and The Pearl Works clientele, as well as members of the general public. 

 

Submissions of 2D art are due to the Emerging Artists Alliance via the form below by May 29, 2026. No AI submissions will be accepted. Limit 3 pieces per submitter unless part of a series. Minimum Size: 8x10; Maximum Size: 40x50​. EAAM will make final selections by June 1, and selected works will be due before June 6.
